WindowZoom Command

Overview

The “WindowZoom Command” zooms the active view to a rectangle you draw in it. Unlike the
“Zoom Command”, which fits the view to the objects you select, this command works on an
area of the screen, so it can also be used where there is nothing to select.

The command can be started in any of the following ways:

1. Click the “Window Zoom” button on the View panel of the View tab.
2. Enter “_CmdZoomWindow” in the prompt window.

Usage

Here is an explanation of how the “WindowZoom Command” is typically used:

1. Start the command.

2. Specify one corner of the area when the prompt “Input first point.” is displayed.

3. Specify the opposite corner when the prompt “Input corner point.” is displayed. The
   view is zoomed so that the rectangle between the two points fills it.
