Reset all settings Command

Overview

The “Reset All Settings Command” in the application provides a way to restore all application settings to their default values. This command ensures that any customizations or modifications made to the settings are reverted, bringing the software back to its original configuration. After executing this command, it is necessary to restart the application for the changes to take effect.

Usage

Here is an explanation of how the “Reset All Settings Command” is typically used:

  1. Access the Command: Locate and activate the “Reset All Settings” command, which is usually found in the application’s bar.

  2. Confirmation Prompt: When initiating the command, the application will typically display a confirmation prompt to ensure that you intend to proceed with resetting all settings. This is to prevent accidental changes.

  3. Confirm Reset: If you wish to proceed, confirm the reset operation by selecting “Yes” or a similar option in the confirmation prompt. Take note that this action cannot be undone, and all settings will be restored to their default values.

  4. Restart the Application: After executing the “Reset All Settings Command,” it is crucial to restart the application. This step is necessary for the application to rebase all settings to their default values.

Upon restarting the application, all customized settings, preferences, and configurations will be reset to their default state. This includes options related to display settings, user interface layouts, measurement units, tool settings, and more. By resetting the settings, users can start afresh with the default setup of the CAD application.

Please be aware that resetting all settings will undo any personalizations or modifications made to the application. Therefore, it is advisable to proceed with caution and ensure that you have a backup of any customized settings or preferences before executing the “Reset All Settings Command.”
